Four Major Steps
1. You must have a google email account: Sign up here.
2. If you are responding on behalf of an organization or community group, please describe it: "I AM RESPONDING IN SUPPORT OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO'S SMART COMMUNITIES APPLICATION - TO INCREASE TECHNOLOGY AND BROADBAND USE IN THE CITY OF CHICAGO AND AUBURN GRESHAM, CHICAGO LAWN, AND ENGLEWOOD.
3. Why should Google build a fiber to the home network where
you live? *
In the Auburn Gresham, Chicago Lawn, and Englewood, we have established a partnership to help lead technology in our three communities.
Chicago is a city transforming it's neighborhoods into a working model of a “Smart Community”. We are doing this by planning programs to improve technology understanding, capabilities and potential usage to provide a better quality of life for our residents, businesses, government, and schools.
We want Google to put fiber to the home in our community, which is typically under-served, so we can use technology to compete effectively in the 21st century. We’d love to have positive support with a meaningful jumpstart to improving education programs, proven violence prevention programs and addressing many other social and economic issues using high speed infrastructure technology as the enabling tool.
4. Tell them how you feel about your current broadband service.
