- Brief History: In 1974, Oliver Vassar opened Ribs Unlimited Bar-B-Q restaurant, using a family Bar-B-Q sauce recipe that is being passed down through generations and perfected by Oliver for over 25years at 1415-19 West 79th Street in Chicago, IL. Ribs Unlimited and its Bar-B-Q sauce have become legendary. Through his innovation and ingenuity, Oliver and along with his daughter Jackie have opened Soul Food Unlimited and Hair Unlimited Barber and Beauty Salon. Today, each entity serves a large customer base of Southside residents.
