COVID-19 Housing Assistance Grant:

Housing grants are available for eligible Chicagoans impacted by COVID-19. Eligible Chicagoans must also demonstrate that their household had loss of income due to a loss or change in employment in order to receive the grant. For more details call GAGDC.

Useful COVID-19 RESOURCES HOUSING ASSISTANCE GRANT
TIME SENSITIVE, MUST APPLY BY MARCH 31st : CLOSED

On Friday, March 27, 2020 Mayor Lightfoot announced that the City will be providing COVID-19 Housing Assistance Grants to people who have either lost their jobs or had their hours/income reduced because of the COVID-19 coronavirus..

The City's Department of Housing has allocated $2 Million for these Grants. Households whose gross income was at or below 60% of the Area Median Income before the reduction in income are eligible to apply.
 
Applications are online at Housing Assistance Grants  Grants will be $1,000.  Applications will be taken only until 11:59 pm on Wednesday, April 1.  On Thursday, the Department of Housing will hold a lottery drawing to select the first 1000 Grant recipients.

Chicago Small Business Resiliency Fund

The City of Chicago recognizes that Coronavirus (COVID-19) has put a difficult burden on the small business community. As a response, the City is establishing a $100 million Chicago Small Business Resiliency Fund, which will help to provide small businesses with emergency cash flow during this immediate health crisis. Funds will be provided to eligible businesses as low-interest loans. Find out more HERE
