** The 79th Street Renaissance Festival is a free community festival **

Treat your family to a wonderful, culturally diverse event this summer by attending the "79th St Ren Fest." Enjoy local acts on the main stage, a kids' corner with a ferris wheel and petting zoo, free hair cuts, prizes for family outings and free lunch for seniors 55+ in a special pavilion in the Seniors Corner. Shop Local and buy jewelry and other items at very reasonable prices. Welcome to Auburn Gresham - one of Chicago's official 77 neighborhoods and definitely one of its best-kept secrets!

City regulations require that festivals do not charge residents entrance fees to use public streets, which means the fee we are asking for is a suggested donation or sponsorship, not a requirement to enter. While some festivals around the city are for-profit, many are the largest fundraisers of the year for nonprofit organization's like the Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation!
