This is the Community Grand Round (CGR) you don't want to miss. This will be a YOUTH developed and led SUMMIT! It will expose you to topics of obesity, violence, sexually transmitted and infectious diseases and asthma.

The Youth Summit will be hosted by Harold Green, "a Memorable Spoken Word Artist… Captivating Lyricist… Compelling Motivational Speaker… Inspirational Playwright…Thrilling Actor…New Age Poet…Modern day RENAISSANCE MAN…all describe the unique talents of Harold Green III. Endowed with an array of gifts, Harold is one of the most versatile artists this generation has seen."

The CGR is sponsored by the Community Grand Rounds series Center for Community Health & Vitality (CCHV) launched its , with the support of the University of Chicago’s Institute for Translational Medicine and the Urban Health Initiative. Current partners for Community Grand Rounds include: Teamwork Englewood, Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation, Greater Southwest Development Corporation, Network of Woodlawn, Claretian Associates, Quad Communities Development Corporation, Northwestern University’s Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute, Near North Health Service Corporation and the Washington Park Consortium.

The Community Grand Rounds YOUTH SUMMIT will include networking opportunities, formal presentations by several community YOUTH groups and audience question and answer sessions with University of Chicago and community health experts and the YOUTH.
