Calm Classroom helps to improve PCS Middle Academy's school culture
Calm Classroom is an evidence-based learning program that helps students develop an inner and self-calming aspect to their being. Founded by Jai and Joy Luster of the Luster Learning Institute, LLC, this program's vision is to provide engaging and relevant solutions that positively address the self-defeating negative behaviors and poor academic achievement that is often associated with influences from dysfunctional families, peers, and community environments, for all members of the school community.
In 2010, the Elev8 initiative at Perspectives Middle Academy partnered with this Institute to provide programming to its middle school students. Click here for more on its success with the Elev8.
