Real Life Experiences Shared with PCS Students
As part of an effort to revitalize neighborhoods and youth programming, GADC's Elev8 Director Michelle Mason and AmeriCorps member Tiffany Horton, partnered with the Chicago Police Department's 6th District and its "Keeping-It-Real" series to educate Perspectives Charter Middle School students about the negatives of street violence, gangs, and drugs.
This civic and community engagement is part of a larger effort in the Auburn Gresham community to collaborate and leverage the following initiatives:
