Congratulations To Our Neighborhood Heroes!

Greetings!
Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago (NHS) held its Annual Meeting and Neighborhood Leadership Awards program, "NHS @ 40: Deep Roots, Still Growing" on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Bridgeport Art Center.

The event was attended by over 300 partners, volunteers, community leaders and neighborhood residents.  The evening's program showcased nine Neighborhood Heroes and celebrated NHS' accomplishments.

Thanks to the support of our volunteers and partners this past year, NHS served over 6,000 clients, loaned over 12 million dollars and created 454 new home owners in the Chicagoland area.  NHS also counseled and educated over 2,700 home owners at risk of foreclosure.

NHS would like to thank our Community Banks Partnership for hosting this special event and the evening's Raffle and Silent Auction, which raised over $4,000 to help support NHS' programs.
