Auburn Gresham $1 Lot Help Session Draws Large Crowd of Residents Ready to Buy!

On February 11th, Auburn Gresham residents participated in the first @largelots.org face-to-face application session, spnosored by the Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation (GADC) staff. The session was held to help them submit applications, to purchase $1 lots, on their blocks. Many felt it was so important to invest in their blocks, they stated they have been keeping up the property for "many, many years" and they showed how really excited they were to submit an application to own the lot!
The uses will vary from community gardens, extending their own property site, to a potential safe recreation lot for youth and even a potential dog park! Congratulations to residents who fully submitted applications.
Too apply, you MUST live/own property ON THE BLOCK in Auburn Gresham, where the CITY OWNED LOT is available, as part of the $1 purchase program.
