CPS to hold community meetings about lead in schools’ water

As Chicago Public Schools added four more elementary schools to its list of those with elevated lead levels Tuesday, the district also announced a series of community meetings about lead problems. All four schools whose results became available failed tests for safe amounts of lead in their drinking water, bringing the district's total up to 23 schools who've shut off drinking fountains or sinks or both.
