Treasurer Summers Announces 2017 Black History Month Essay Competition

Dear Chicago,

I'm proud to announce the 10th Annual Black History Month Essay Competition

This scholarship will give Chicago Public Schools seniors the opportunity to win a $2,500 scholarship for their first year college tuition.

While students applying must plan on attending college this fall, the application requires no minimum grade point average or ACT/SAT score. We are working to make this scholarship accessible for as many students as possible, so please circulate this within your networks!
