The Law Project Changes Its Name!

To our clients, volunteers, and friends:

For more than 30 years,  you have known us by different names - first as the Community Economic Development Law Project, and then as The Law Project.

Today, we are excited to announce that our new name is the Community Law Project.

Throughout the years, our commitment to our mission has never changed: To secure economic opportunity by building, strengthening, and supporting community-based organizations and businesses in Chicago's low-income neighborhoods.

Along with our name, we also have a different online presence. Our new site is cleaner, faster, and better equipped to meet the needs of our clients, our community partners, and our volunteers.

We hope you will check out the new site and celebrate this exciting stage for our organization.

Warmly,

Jody Adler
Director of the Community Law Project
