Transit Oriented Development Planning Process

The Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation (GADC) and Camiros, Ltd. together with the Illinois Department of Transportation, is committed to involving community residents and business owners in a historical and important planning process.

This planning process was birthed from Auburn Gresham's Quality of Life plan with specific emphasis of developing a transit village near Winneconna Parkway. We will also discuss successes regarding this initiative to date and expound upon other developmental opportunities such as creating compact business clusters on 79th Street, making them pedestrian- and transit-friendly.

Please join us at Three Chefs Restaurants, Inc. at 8125 South Halsted, Chicago, IL 60620. We will convene on November 30, 2010 at 8 am. Other planning meeting dates and times will be shared at a later date.
