The Department of Business Affairs & Consumer Protection (BACP) offers workshops every Wednesday and Friday. Workshops vary each month and are conducted by City Officials, experts, and partner business organizations. All workshops are free, and open to the public. Workshops are held at BACP's offices located in Room 805 and Room 1103 at City Hall, 121 N. LaSalle St., Chicago, IL 60602.

A big week in Economic Development Funding for Chicago's neighborhoods!

Last week, Mayor Rahm Emanuel launched two new programs that will make significant funding available to support new and existing businesses on Chicago's South, Southwest, and West Sides. Both the Neighborhood Opportunity Fund and the Retail Thrive Zones programs offer grant funding up to $250,000 to commercial real estate projects on select neighborhood commercial corridors. Quality of Life Plan Celebration of How Your Voice Matters Auburn Gresham!

This was the first celebration of our collective works, held October 29, 2016, at the Salaam Restaurant & Bakery, 700 West 79th Street, from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Tthe "Veterans New Beginnings Residence," is a nearly completed affordable housing building for veterans, located at 8140 S. Racine.

With nearly 400 attendees, people of all economic and social make-up learned about Auburn Gresham’s digital platform and the resources made available to further develop them in Auburn Gresham.
