Something to Read Into, Auburn Gresham Unveils It's First Little Free Library!

The first of many Little Free Libraries, was unveiled at Westcott Elementary School, in the Chicago southside inner city community of Auburn Gresham. The project was brought to Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Coporation (GADC), during 2015 national literacy month (September), by the United Way Neighborhood Network, (of which GADC is one of their latest cohorts), on behalf of Northern Trust community affairs.

Auburn Gresham GOLD Celebrates Family Game Night!

Auburn Gresham GOLD (AG GOLD) held their first Family Game Night at Oliver Westcott Elementary School, 409 W. 80th Street, Thursday evening October 30, 2014. A strong showing of Parents came out to be with their students and other families for a night of games, food and community fun.

W.K. KELLOGG FOUNDATION GRANTS $1.9 MILLION TO EXPAND AUBURN GRESHAM GOLD

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation awarded the Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation (GAGDC) a $1 milion grant to strengthen it's K-3rd grade literacy and family economic development two-generation strategy, Auburn Gresham GOLD (AG GOLD), in several Chicago Auburn Gresham elementary schools.
