Starting in 2020, GAGDC (along with Green Era and Urban Growers Collective) won the inaugural $10M Chicago Prize from the Pritzker Traubert Foundation which helped jumpstart the development of two impactful projects: the Auburn Gresham Healthy Lifestyle Hub, a world-class health and wellness center and office building, and the revolutionary Green Era Renewable Energy Campus, featuring the Midwest’s first anaerobic digester.
