Brighten Up 79th Street

Businesses along the 79th St corridor are encouraged to display the spirit of the season with their best decorations! December 1st - 16th, community residents will vote online for the businesses with the best decorations. 

  • The Winner announced at GAGDC’s annual Winter Wonderland December 17th, at 79th & Throop, 4 - 7pm.
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes Last year’s winners were QT&J Collections (1st), RL Sneed
    Hardware (2nd), & Dabble Cafe & Market (3rd).
  • Winners received a check for $500 & a Plaque commemorating their
    participation & success in the Brighten Up 79th Competition!
