Auburn Gresham community, came out and celebrated all our hard work contributing to Your Voice Matters Quality of Life Plan planning process. This was the first celebration of our collective works, held October 29, 2016, at the Salaam Restaurant & Bakery, 700 West 79th Street, from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

If you own land in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, for the past few months you had a chance to buy up two vacant lots, from the City of Chicago for only $1 and proof of ownership on the block. Huge kudos to a community that showed up and almost bought out!

The "Your Voice Matters" Housing Task Force meeting on February 4th to discuss strategies for the 2016 Quality-of-Life Plan in Auburn Gresham. The main organization leading the large charge for the plan development is NHS Auburn Gresham, along with the Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation (GAGDC) playing an instrumental role in co-writing, co-facilitating, and increasing community awareness.
