Landscaping

Greening SSA #81 with Urban Green Team

Urban Green Team provides essential landscaping services across SSA #81 — including weeding, mulching, and seasonal greening. Their work ensures that trees, grass, and shrubs are healthy, vibrant, and well-maintained.

Beautification That Builds Community

The Urban Green Team helps create a clean, welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and local businesses. Their commitment to green infrastructure supports both environmental sustainability and neighborhood pride.

Services Include:

• Weekly weeding and mulching

• Tree and shrub maintenance

• Seasonal planting and greening initiatives

SSA #81 is blooming — thanks to the hands-on care and dedication of the Urban Green Team.

Facade Enhancement Program

The Facade Enhancement Program was created and developed by economic development consultant C Johnson and Associates. This program encourages owner investment and commercial development. 

The Facade Enhancement program offers architectural services to participants by providing grants to eligible residents and businesses located within the SSA #81
Approved grant recipients will receive the following services:

One-on-one architectural consultations
Professional renderings
Financial resources and grants related to the proposed renovation
Visible beautification of their home or business as a result of upgraded facade improvements

As part of the program's guidelines, all facade improvements must be visible to pedestrians on the main thoroughfare and must contribute to the overall beautification/improvement of the SSA #81

Program Eligibility Guidelines:

Any resident or business located within SSA #81 seeking to invest in improving their building's facade through the Facade Enhancement program must complete an application and return it to the SSA #81 management office. All applications must be approved by GAGDC and SSA management before any work or improvements begin.
