"Calm Classroom" Takes Overs at Perspectives Middle School

The Auburn Gresham Elev8 team is addressing the emotional and mental health needs of the students and their families through a new partnership, called Calm Classroom.

Started as a pilot in school year 2009-10, this acclaimed curriculum yielded much enthusiasm from middle school students that participated.

As part of the launch for the 2010-11 school year, all school, health center, Elev8, lunch room, and security staff will be trained on the Calm Classroom techniques.
