As this training program is new to Westcott School, Auburn Gresham GOLD also got a chance to get to know parents, students and staff of Westcott and casually talk to them about the program. The Wii was provided along with board games like, Chutes and Ladders, Monopoly, Apples to Apples, Bingo, Uno and more for the families. Food and beverages were provided and Affy Tapple treats to start the Halloween weekend.

Parents were also encouraged to speak briefly on their future goals to influence the young people in the room that no matter how many obstacles one may cross, we should never have to give up on our goals in life. The first family game night was a huge success and parents seemed more than enthused about the program.
