Auburn Gresham Gold Full 3-Year Plan

Auburn Gresham Gold Community-Driven Education Plan is the final document generated over the course of 6-months, by a task force lead by the Auburn Gresham-Development Corporations (GADC) Director of Education, Tenisha Jones. The task force consisted of senior leaders and staff from local elementary schools, pre-schools, businesses, as well as our private and non-profit community partners.  The plan is a detailed 3-5 year strategy of the goals & interventions, target schools and anticipated outcomes, the community feels must be addressed to unite schools, families and community partners across the Auburn Gresham community to help all students  succeed. Auburn Gresham Gold's phase one initial focus is a two-generation improvement plan targeting K-3rd grade academics and economic and social supports to parents and families.

  • Barton Elementary School, 7650 S. Wolcott Avenue
  • Oglesby Elementary School, 7646 S. Green Street
  • Westcott Elementary School, 409 W. 80th Street
  • Perspectives Middle Academy (Calumet Campus), 8131 S. May Street
  • Cook Elementary School, 8150 S. Bishop Street

Mission

To foster and promote revitalization of the community by designing and implementing programs that improve the community’s economic viability; increase availability of quality housing to people of different income levels, while maintaining and improving existing affordable housing; and enhance delivery of social services, particularly to senior citizens.
