Our community—The Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation (GADC) is a delegate agent for the City of Chicago’s Department of Community Development (formerly known as the Department of Housing), which provides free minor home repairs through the HRAIL program. HRAIL (Home Repairs for Accessible and Independent Living) is a program for senior citizens who earn no more than 80% of the medium income—adjusted for family size—and who are at least 60 years of age.

Our community—The Auburn Gresham quality-of-life plan was created in 2004 by residents and local leaders, and presented to Mayor Richard M. Daley on May 18, 2005. The plan presents the neighborhood's vision and a set of strategies to achieve it.
